All of our Training Packages include lessons, and we are happy to create a la carte schedules of Lessons only for those who prefer the hands on learning. Whether we are meeting with you Virtually via Zoom or In Person, we promise you will learn a lot!
Phone Consultations are available on Mondays between 3pm and 5pm, Tuesdays between 10am and 12pm, and Saturdays between 12pm and 2pm.
We do require pre-payment for the first lesson to secure your booking.
We have found that starting with a Virtual Lesson helps us really get started on the right foot. With the amount of discussion we have in our initial lessons, we do find that doing it virtually allows everyone to be much more comfortable during the conversation and enables us to get you started without the dogs being distracted by a new exciting human! Plus, we are able to record our zoom lessons which will allow you to go back and re-watch any part of the lesson at a later time, just in case you forget anything we discussed!
Please keep in mind that availability for an In Person Initial is more limited than for a Virtual Session.
During the initial session we will discuss the issues you are having, outline the causes for these behaviors, and set goals that we would like to reach. Together we set a training plan that includes your day to day training with your pup, as well as what services are the best fit for your lifestyle and your budget and will help you best reach your goals. After we do all of that talking, we will make sure to have some time to start training exercises at the end of the lesson.
You will meet with your trainer over Zoom and receive real time coaching on how to teach your dog new skills and work through problem behaviors. Your trainer may demonstrate some skills for you with their own dog, but the focus of these sessions will be actively coaching you through working with your dog. Record your session and keep it saved to look back on as you train throughout the week, and look forward to detailed handouts from your trainer as well.
This great option allows us to create much more focused session to really hone in on skills and get you training your dog expertly.
In Person Lessons are still focused on you being able to do the work with your dog, and on working through the behaviors in the environment where they are needed.
